Presentation 1: Standardized Digital Twin Data within Engineering through Asset Administration Shell
Today, a lot of effort has to be invested in completing, providing, identifying, structuring, formatting, and integrating data from the digital twin before the value-added process, e.g. of engineering a machine, can start. The reasons for this are a lack of interoperability in the cross-company exchange of digital twins as each supplier provides “different” digital twin data as well as the fact, that no universal standard is used. By utilizing the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) and Siemens software solutions a standardized digital twin exchange across company boundaries is realized to increase efficiency and data quality especially within the engineering phase.

Presentation 2: Smarte Datenanalysen auf Basis der Cloud
Datenauswertungen sind in der heutigen Arbeitswelt nicht mehr wegzudenken und werden immer mehr zum entscheidenden Faktor das Unternehmen für die Zukunft aufzustellen. Sei es die Bewertung der aktuellen Leistung auf Basis von Kennzahlen, das Ermitteln von kurzfristigen Materialbedarfen für die nächsten Wochen oder die Erstellung von mittel- und langfristigen Prognosen, um Investitionen für die Zukunft tätigen zu können. Viele Unternehmen tun sich hier heute noch schwer und haben nicht selten äußerst fragile Auswertungsketten auf Excel-Basis, die historisch gewachsen sind.

Die Auswertungsmöglichkeiten im Zeitalter der Cloud sind vielfältig und ermöglichen es schnell und effektiv Datenanalysen durchzuführen. Der Vortrag skizziert die notwendigen Bausteine auf dem Weg zum erfolgreichen digitalen Shopfloor.

Speaker: Oliver Jetter is a Managing Director and Solution Architect at smartdings with a technical focus on IoT solutions. Before starting his journey with smartdings, he built up software engineering and data analytics teams at AUDI for 6 years as well as designed and developed various software systems as Capgemini.
